MPR DOUBLE ACTING PULL CLAMP

These EAS pull cylinders are very suitable to clamp dies on press beds with T-slots. Used on QDC applications if it is preferred to keep the pressbed free from clamping tools while this clamp is built into the slide or bolster. For this reason the MPR clamp is used in new presses only.

MTR KEY POINTS

· This three position hydraulic clamp features 4 oil inlets for the different movements – extends , turns, clamps and returns

· Inductive sensor available for clamped and retracted position signals

APPLICATION

This three position clamp is applied on automatic clamping on new presses if the surface of the press bed has to be free from clamping tools.

To get signals at automatic and secure clamping if the clamping arm is retracted under the surface and or if the clamping arm is clamping the die, inductive sensors are available.

Options

Proximity switches are optional. These control the clamping arm’s position, assuring correct rotation of the arm to avoid hitting the die.
